A space for nonfiction, curiosity, and meaningful conversation.

About Josh
I've always enjoyed a good story, especially when it's true.
My interest in nonfiction really took off after getting a few book recommendations. I read one, then another, and before I knew it, I was always looking for the next book to pick up.
What Keeps Me Reading
Some of my favorites have been biographies of Theodore Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Benjamin Franklin. I've also spent plenty of time reading about the natural world, including books by John Muir. That's what I love about nonfiction. There's always something new to discover, whether it's a fascinating person, an unfamiliar place, or a moment in history.
How the Book Club Started
The book club actually came about pretty naturally.
Some friends of mine opened 3 of Cups bookstore in Olathe, Kansas, and were looking for people to lead book clubs. They knew I read a lot of nonfiction and asked if I'd be interested in hosting one.
I said yes, and that's how Josh Reads NonFiction got started.
